July 11, 2018 turned out to be an evening of perfect weather for Franconia Township's 17th Annual Concert in the Park. The Parks and Recreation Board hosted this event which included free water ice, a moon bounce and food for purchase for those who wanted any. Barefoot Bobby and the Breakers put on a great concert, and a fun time was had by all!!

The 16th annual Concert in the Park took place on Wednesday July 12th at the Franconia Township Park. The weather was kind and the music was great. StaticQuo played for Franconia for the first time and featured one of our very own residents. The North Penn Goodwill Food Truck and volunteer fire were in attendance to assist with the event. Courtesy of the concert sponsors there was free water ice for all. The Franconia Park and Recreation Board would like to thank Univest, Hagey Coach and Tours, and Harleysville Party Rental for making this event possible. A great time was had by all!

2016

The 15th annual concert in the park was held on Wednesday July 20, 2016 in the Franconia Park. The concert featured the band River of Dreams singing Billy Joel by request. Many residents joined in singing along and requesting their favorite Billy Joel tunes. There was food and fun for all. The Park and Recreation Board would like to thank the following sponsors for making the night possible: Univest, Godshall's Quality Meats, Hagey Coach & Tours, and Harleysville Party Rental. Thanks also goes out to the band River of Dreams for a great performance.

The 10th Annual Mango Men Concert in the Park was held on Wednesday, July 20th, 2011. The concert was held at the Franconia Community Park. The festive night in the park was a complete success, there was island music, dancing and food for all to enjoy! The Franconia Township Park and Recreation Board would like to thank Univest and Hagey Coach & Tours for sponsoring the concert. They would also like to thank the Mango Men for their performance and the vendors who also participated in the event
